Reporting enables the capture and documentation of focused, salient content to a specific audience. Reporting tends to be derived directly from your operational, transactional systems and can be user driven – by querying the data in the system – or administrator driven, by developing specific reports which can be run on a schedule or as required. Reporting tends not to support the rich visual user experience associated with analytics and dashboards.
